We are flexibly based in Stockport and South Manchester and within easy reach of Cheshire, Trafford and Greater Manchester.
Our counsellors have completed postgraduate professional training at the prestigious Manchester University and work within the ethical guidelines of the nationally recognised counselling body BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).
We undertake initial assessments with our clients to enable them to make sense of their individual circumstances and identify choices for change. We then meet for an agreed number of sessions to help and support the client with this process which leaves the client better equipped to cope.
We pride ourselves on using an integrative counselling approach where several distinct models of counselling and psychotherapy are used effectively together in a way that is tailored to meet each clients' individual needs and circumstances.
Counselling may take the form of being short term and focused on specific goals or may be longer term to address deeper rooted issues.
